the team

Rebecca Drew (Bex)

Bex started her career in the hairdressing world over 20 years ago and now finds herself fulfilling another dream by opening her own salon.

Having spent many years working abroad in Australia and different regions of the UK, Bex decided Bristol was the City to settle in, to build a life and further her career.

Colour has always inspired and intrigued her, so achieving the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Specialist Degree felt like the icing on the cake. The next challenge for Bex is to become a Wella Colour Master.

The ethos surrounding Bex’ career has always been to create beautiful cuts and colours that work together in total synergy and harmony whether it be for the high street, photo shoots, competitions or magazine work.

Bex always aspires to gain more and more knowledge by attending regular London based courses, with some of the top-names in the industry.

Carolyn Baker

With over 20 years of hairdressing experience, Carolyn comes to ‘The Snug’ with the same amount of passion and enthusiasm as when she first started hairdressing.

With a love for all aspects of hairdressing, particularly precision cutting, Carolyn still gets a great buzz when clients not only leave the salon with fabulous new tailor made hair, but a big smile too.

Over the years Carolyn has entered and been successful in many L’Oreal colour trophy competitions, winning the western region and being a finalist in the grand final in London. Carolyn has also been a major part of many photo shoots and fashion shows.

Education is key to Carolyn’s success, whether it’s sharing knowledge or attending regular courses in London. Carolyn also feels very passionate about ‘My New Hair’, supporting and helping those people who lose their hair for medical reasons.

Creating fabulous hair just makes Carolyn feel alive!
